DEONNA GANDY

Deonna Gandy is an award winning customer focused business operations leader with over ten years of program management experience. A Pittsburgh native, Deonna obtained her Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University.

As an Honors College student, Deonna graduated a semester early, and began her professional experience in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. Upon becoming a first generation collegiate graduate, Deonna successfully managed PNC's 10,000 sq. ft. Innovation Center known as the "iLab",  and obtained a part-time opportunity working as a Front Desk Sales Representative for a local boutique fitness studio called "Pure Barre". 

 

Currently, Deonna is working as a Senior UX Program Manager for Amazon. When she is not managing customer experiences for Amazon's design teams, you can find her teaching Yoga or Pure Barre fitness classes. As well as mentoring and helping develop young professionals exceed their future career goals! Deonna lives to maintain strong relationships with her internal and external customers. A lover of learning and giving back, Deonna believes each person she crosses paths with in life has the ability to teach her something new. 

 

A fun fact about Deonna, in high school she received her first taste into the world of Marketing when she began modeling for corporations across the country. It was through this experience she received a first hand look into what it is like to market and advertise for a brand. Deonna's passions consist of helping others discover meaningful ways to take care of themselves through health and wellness activities, and helping mentor others on playing a role in this movie we all call life!
